Susan Ingram, Esq.
Susan Ingram is a graduate of St. John’s University
School of Law and has been practicing law since 1975.
Throughout her capacities as a principal in her own law
firm, as general counsel of a media company and as
senior counsel in several large corporate law
departments, including MasterCard International and
American Express. Susan has been a special education
advocate ever since her son was diagnosed with diabetes
at the age of five and with a learning disability two years
later. She has experienced first-hand the difficulties that
special needs children face and is passionate about
helping all children obtain the education and services they
need to realize their full potential. Susan has served on
the Board of Directors of the Learning Disabilities
Association of NYC for the past twelve years, and served
on the Board of the International Dyslexia Association,
NYC Chapter. Additionally, she is a founding member of
the Parents Diabetes Network. Susan also works in the
areas of family and divorce mediation and conflict
resolution. She received a B.A. in Spanish Language and
Literature from NYU and is fluent in Spanish.
