Amy Racanello, Special Education Advocate
Amy Racanello is a graduate of Cornell University
where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree.
Amy graduated from Brooklyn College where she
completed the school psychology program and earned
her Master of Science in Education and her Advanced
Certificate in School Psychology. Currently, she is at
the CUNY, Graduate Center where is working toward
her doctorate in Educational Psychology,
specialization School Psychology.
In addition to going to school and her work at SLA,
Amy has a private tutoring practice where she works
with parents and students. As a school psychologist
and a long time tutor, Amy understands that each
student is an individual and benefits from having an
advocate who respects their unique needs and
situation.
